Student accommodation
There is a whole host of student accommodation in Bournemouth including student houses, flats, halls and hotels, here are just a few suggestions from the numerous accommodations in the town.
Halls of residence generally offer contracts for 15/40 or 52 weeks so may be ideal if you’re looking for a longer stay.
There are a lot of brand-new halls centrally located in the Lansdowne area and town centre some of which have onsite gyms and cinema rooms! For a real student experience, these options will be good: St Peters Hall, Oxford Point, Home Park, Bailey Point, Belaton, Lulworth and Lyme Regis House are just a few.
Private apartments and rooms
If you prefer to rent a room in a student house, then there are estate agents that can help and have plenty of accommodation in all parts of Bournemouth specifically for students
You can also try Airbnb which not only offers whole flats/apartments but also offers rooms in hosts homes if you prefer to stay in a homelier environment.
Hotels
Budget
Family run hotel ideally located on Bournemouth's West Cliff, the Applewood Hotel is within easy reach of the award-winning beaches, shops, bars, theatres and nightlife. The BIC is also only 10-minute walk away. Free WIFI and free parking is available. The walk to Kings would be approx. 20 minutes.
Mid-range
Premier Inn, various locations
There are a few Premier Inns located around Bournemouth but this one is in a great location, a couple of minutes’ walk from the coach & train station and a 10 minute walk into the town centre and beaches. Ideal for a shorter stay. It is joined to Home Park student residence. Walk to Kings around 20 minutes.
Luxury
Situated just a couple of minutes minutes' walk from the beach and vibrant promenade, Hilton Bournemouth features a heated indoor pool, complimentary 24-hour fitness centre and the Eforea spa & health club with sauna and steam facilities. Each room comes with a 49-inch HD TV, work desk and an en-suite bathroom. The walk to Kings is around 10 minutes.
