Terms and Conditions
Students must:
- maintain a minimum 3.3 cumulative GPA for most majors and schools from semester 1.
- maintain a minimum 3.5 cumulative GPA if they will major in Business, Engineering, or Medical Sciences or if they will apply to the University of California System from semester 1.
- remain in good disciplinary standing for their entire enrollment.
- meet all minimum requirements for transfer schools, including English Proficiency, standardized testing, GPA and transfer credit hours.
- review their Personal Statement and Supplemental Essays at least twice with Progression Advisor. The final review must be completed at least two weeks before application due dates.
- apply to a minimum of five Top 100 schools, including at least one safety school [1] and two mid-range [2] schools, approved by their Progression Advisor and signed off on by the Progression Manager.
- submit applications and required materials with their Progression Advisor before the deadline.
- attend at least four Kings workshops per academic year.
- complete at least one advising session with their Progression Advisor per month.
- show sustained and verifiable involvement with at least one club on the university campus or proof of activity/volunteer work outside of campus during enrollment.
Note: Top 100 universities are defined either by overall national rankings, or ranking by specific undergraduate subject, whichever is the higher.
[1] Kings defines a safety school as an institution where all required minimums are substantially less than the student's academic record shows.
[2] Kings defines a mid-range school as a university where all required minimums are equal to what the student's academic record shows.
This Guarantee does not apply if a student:
- Earns credits at multiple institutions. Guarantee only applies to credits earned at host institution.
- Will major in Film, Visual Arts, Fashion Design, Architecture, Music, Theater or any other program requiring portfolio review or audition.
- Falsifies or misrepresents any aspect of the application or required documentation
- Wthdraws from required courses, if there are multiple Ws on the university transcript or if student leaves for a gap semester.
- Started at their host institution before 2020
